Straight horizontal lines represent the "l´impalpabile andamentale", translatable as the "impalpable continuous motion", which, in this case, is actually the trail of the speeding motorcyclist´s body. These are in terwoven with vortexes (produced by the speeding wheels), with curved lines of speed, and with diagonal lines radiating from the handle bars
