Simultaneous movement in all directions is conveyed, and from whatever point the spectator´s eye starts, it will be led throughout the composition. here again the white lines, which Balla intended to represent his movements on the balcony - that something intangible which is no longer there - interpenetrate with the drain-pipe, the Persian blinds and the swifts in flight.
